Stace loathes Thanksgiving. The fake togetherness with family, the food, the fact that it takes twelve minutes to eat. But none of that matters because Stace is counting down the months until graduation when she can leave her annoying life behind and head to culinary school in London.

 

And if she has to spend one last Thanksgiving with her family, at least it’ll be on the ski slopes of Park City. But then her mom informs her that the Higgins family has wormed their way into their holiday vacation. The last person– the very last person–Stace is thankful for is Callum Higgins, who used to be her best friend before he betrayed her right before his family moved to L.A. almost two years ago. They haven’t spoken since. Sharing a meal with Callum? Sharing a condo with Callum? Sharing an entire ski resort with Callum? The thought makes Stace’s stomach ache.

 

So at Friendsgiving, Stace makes a desperate wish on the wishbone that what she thought might be a mediocre time at best won’t be totally ruined. Of course, wishes aren’t real. There’s no way Callum isn’t going to wreck this holiday.
